Spotlight: JavaScript

A one day event focused on JavaScript.

The Event

FITC Presents Spotlight: JavaScript!

The Spotlight event series concentrates on relevant tech topics for one day, allowing interactive professionals and students to build up their skills at a low price point with a minimal time commitment.

The second in the series puts a spotlight on JavaScript, a development language which has been coined by many as “the most misunderstood.” During this one day event, experienced developers will shine a spotlight on JavaScript to bring clarity to the language, its features, when and why to use it, as well as provide real world examples of the code in action.

Why should you attend Spotlight: JavaScript?
Nearly everyone with a personal computer has some sort of JavaScript interpreter on it, making this language essential to the developer’s toolkit. JavaScript has become even more important with the increasing popularity of HTML5, as it is one of the language’s building blocks. By the end of event day, attendees will have enough information to get started with JavaScript development.

Who should attend?
This event is for developers across all platforms in all stages of their career. This event’s content will cover basic to intermediate topics in JavaScript.
