There are some interesting new features in AIR 2.6. Of particular note are the number of API's that now work on iOS as well as Android.

Not only are the API's expanded for iOS but there is now support for hardware acceleration and the iPhone Packager is gone, replaced by integration into ADT, making the build process easier. There are also numerous improvements for Android and desktop AIR applications.

We're curious to hear from people about their experiences with the new iOS features.

Read the full details of new features on Christian Cantrell's blog and go grab the AIR 2.6 SDK to get started yourself.
